Updates!

I just got back form another convention (the one in Hartford, CT). It was fun and, of course, exhausting. But, it is always nice to met fans of the genre...and fans of the documentary. haha

But, it's always back to the task at hand: writing. Here's where we are:

--still waiting for Hallmark to read the Christmas script. A company likes it and took it to them.

--we sent in some ideas for other Christmas movies to a company who also wants o do one. This just happened today, so time will tell.

--we had a meeting with an executive at Wes Craven's company (eeee!). She read one of our horror pieces and liked what we did with it and wanted to do a meet and greet. She was great...I hope there is something in our future with them!

--we have another general meeting tomorrow with Atlas Entertainment. They read our supernatural horror piece and liked it. I have actually always loved the films they've done. Dawn Steel was a major player in the business who ran a studio and then the company (she passed away in 1996, sadly). I read her book ("They Can Kill You But They Can't Eat You") and always thought to myself how great it would be to work with them. So, who'd have thought years later we'd be meeting somewhere from there.

--our pitch for our untitled adventure got pushed due to some other meetings, so that is now the week of July 6th.

So, it's been a busy week! In the meantime, we plan to be well into Act 2 of our next spec over the weekend.
