A New Year!

And things are already starting off exciting...

We have alot of irons in the fire, but that fire is only hot coals because of the current strike. But, that is no reason to get down. It allows us to do lots of reading and thinking about what we want to do and where we want to be. So...there'll be updates on writing when the strike is over.*

In the meantime, the biggest news is that our house remodel is done! For a while it felt like it would take forever and ever, but it is finally done and we couldn't be more thrilled. It was a major facelift and addition: new roof, new air conditioning/heating system, all new windows, new exterior doors, new siding, removing the brickwork and replacing it with ledge stone, remodeling the upstairs guest bathroom and the massive remodel/addition to the master bedroom, walk in closet, den and amazing new master bathroom. It's huge and amazing...now we need to fill it with new furntiture!

On the creative side of things, I am attached as producer to a few things that have some cool talent attached, so those things will be a priority as the year begins. One is horror, one is supernatural thriller, one is a western (love it!) and the other is a dark comedy with b-movie horror elements.

Here's hoping 2008 brings lots of success for everyone!

*Apparently, no one is supposed to be doing any writing, either for themselves or others...even non-guild members, because doing so could get one disciplined (read: blacklisted).
