Christms In July

And could I be any happier?

So, before I roll in to the holidays of it all, I'll say that we finished our two treatments and sent them of to the executive who wanted our takes. We had a notes call with him on both. he liked them, had some great comments, we came up with some on the spot solutions to questions he had, and he said he'd take our pitches to his team. So, we're supposed to hear back from him some time this week. Hopefully, when we do, it will be good news!

So, back to Christmas. We still have our Christmas script in at Hallmark and are waiting. In the meantime, I think it is going to go out to some other places, as well as to talent. We're looking forward to that.

On some other fronts, the four ideas that went to the company who liked them, are now in that company's president's hands. We're hoping to hear something this week.

And now, we are just about wrapped up with the holiday take of the tween movie. We are hoping to get that approved and move on to the pitch stage with the executive.

Other than that, we are in revision mode on our teen thriller spec and hoping to land an assignment.

Oh, and we heard back that Starz liked our take of 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea and want to hit SyFy at the right time, in the hopes of getting a greenlight to move forward.
