More Ideas Down!

Three to be exact. They are takes for Dark Castle. We met over there and they had a very general concept and said if we came up with anything to do with it, they'd take a look. Well, being the overachievers we are, we came up with three (count' em, three!) takes.

We are pretty happy with them. They are varied and interesting and, hopefully, will show the executive that we can think out of the box and still make horror interesting and clever.

They are in the hands of our manager and, if she signs of on them, they'll go to Dark Castle.

I also wrangled a meeting at an agency later this month. It is with an agent who was really supportive of us and, I hope, might be willing to take that leap of faith and give representing us a try.

Again, here's hoping!

Still, there is no rest for the wicked: we still have two concepts we need to flesh out for our manager, the third act of our sci-fi thriller needs massaging and, og yeah, there's that newest spec we need to start writing.

When (not if!) we win an Academy Award, I think we really have to say the road to success is paved with a helluva lot of hard work!!!
